I FAILED the NaNoWriMo Challenge, But Here’s What I Learned

The end of November came and went. I kept updating my NaNoWriMo counter, but by mid November I knew that I wasn’t going to make my goal. In fact I didn’t even make it halfway to my goal: On November 30th I had written only sixteen thousand words. I kept at it though, spending time each day in my writing, not wanting to give up but at the same time bowing differentially to the inevitable.
